SCAM ALERT!!!!

The Junction City Police Department has announced via social media that several residents have received calls stating that the caller is from the electric company.

The caller goes on to say their bill is late and if they don’t pay today, their service will be shut off. The caller then instructs them to go to Dollar General and purchase Green Money Cards. THIS IS A SCAM. A BUSINESS WILL NOT ASK FOR YOU TO PURCHASE MONEY CARDS TO PAY YOUR BILL.
