Jazz at the Junction comes to the C. L. Hoover Opera House on Friday evening at 7 p.m.

The Lars Quincke Quintet will be featured, said Opera House Co-Director Sheila Markley. “Lars is a student at K-State, a jazz pianist, and doing a great job. He’s rounded up a group.” There will also be a singer with the group.

Markley said Quincke has performed at the Opera House on two prior occasions, and is also the organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Junction City. She added admission is $10 at the door, and the program will be in an intimate setting like you would experience in New York City.
