Junction City Blue Jay wrestling coach Bob Laster is recovering from a medical condition and has been temporarily unavailable this past week to coach the wrestling team.

Laster is now at home following a hospital stay, but he confirmed for JC Post that he hopes to return to coaching in time to guide the Blue Jay wrestling team in the state tournament on February 22nd and 23rd. In the meantime the Blue Jay assistant wrestling coaches are overseeing the team.

The Blue Jays will compete in a regional tournament this Friday and Saturday, February 15th and 16th.
