The Junction City Blue Jay boys basketball team will open against the Derby Panthers in the first round of the Tournament of Champions in Dodge City on January 17th.

The Blue Jays ( 4-2 )  will play Derby ( 1-5 ) at 2 p.m. on the 17th. The other first round game on the same side of the bracket as Junction City, finds Dodge City playing Hutchinson. The other half of the opening day lineup includes Shawnee Mission South against Wichita North, and Bishop Carroll vs. Newton.

The tournament will continue on Friday and Saturday, the 18th and 19th.
