The USD 475 Board of Education approved the District’s six-year master plan for facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization some time ago. When the Board meets Monday evening at the Devin Center they will be asked to consider of the 2019 summer work and the related control budget.
Significant projects would include a new gymnasium at Westwood Elementary School, restroom renovations at Ware Elementary School, audio visual upgrades at Franklin and Lincoln Elementary Schools. There would also be roofing and pavement repairs at various schools and painting projects.
BOE approval of the summer work and control budget would allow Hutton Construction to solicit bids and return a guaranteed maximum price for execution.
The Board of Education meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
