Junction City jumped out to a first quarter lead and never relinquished it.
Blue Jay coach Nick Perez said it was good for the Junction City players to go 4-1 in December. On the opponent last night he noted Garden City is a good basketball team. “I thought Holloway had them really ready to play and they did some good things to slow us down. But we’ve got to stop making silly mental mistakes, we had some double dribbles, we had some carries, we had some travels, we had some bad shots, but it feels good to be 4-1.” Perez added he was proud of the team’s fight.
