The Junction City Middle School wrestling team captured the Centennial League championship with a total team score of 215 points. Washburn Rural finished second with 157 points.

The Wildcats placed 16 out of 18 wrestlers in the top four of their respective weight classes. Finishing first for Junction City Middle School were Ethan Melton in the 75-pound weight class, Ezekial Witt at 80 pounds, Jaime Villanueva at 120, Justin McLane-Wisner 141 pounds, and Josh Cummings 148 pounds.

Five Wildcat wrestlers brought home silver medals. They included Zach Petrusky at 95 pounds, Joey Andres 105, Aimin Strickland 115, Jeremiah Rodrigues 155 pounds and Cameron McClerkin at 265.

Finishing third were Kayden Blake at 85 pounds, griffin Bohanan 134 and Logan Nabus at 165 pounds.

Finishing fourth were Donque WIlliams at 90 pounds, Ashton Lupo 110, and DK Oscar at 215 pounds.
