The Geary Community Hospital Medical Explorers Class visited the operating room at Geary Community Hospital with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Peter Hodges Wednesday evening. The students were able to learn about the operating room followed by a mock rotator cuff repair.
The Medical Explorers class is comprised of high school students, most from Junction City High School, interested in a career within the Healthcare industry. Each class they visit a different specialty within the hospital.
