The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported that Deputies responded to U.S. 77 Highway mile marker 157 for a car vs. deer accident.

Bret Everhart was driving his 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound when a deer ran out in front of him, striking the driver’s side front of the vehicle. There was minor damage to the vehicle, but Everhart was not injured.
