The Junction City Fire Department has estimated the damage from a Saturday night fire at 1602 Patriot Drive at $75,000. No one was injured. The residents were not home at the time of the blaze, and a dog was rescued.
Fire Chief Terry Johnson said the fire occurred in a two-story four plex housing unit in the Patriot Pointe housing addition. When fire crews arrived on scene they found smoke showing and flames on the back side of one of the units. The unit involved was the second from the south side of the building.
