Victory Celebration Concert

Victory Week at Fort Riley, a week-long celebration of the 1st Infantry
Division, kicks off Saturday night, Aug. 4 with a Victory Celebration
concert. The concert is free and open to the public.

Featured bands include the 1st Infantry Division Rock Band, Drunken Roots,
an Americana band from Manhattan, Kansas, and Bootleg Mercy, a rock band
from Salina. The concert begins at 6 p.m. outside Riley’s Conference Center,
446 Seitz Drive.

Visitors who don’t have a Department of Defense ID card should go to
https://www.riley.army.mil and click on the yellow “Accessing Fort Riley” tab
on the right-hand side of the page for installation entry requirements.
Passes for event day can be obtained in advance at the Visitor Control
Center, exit 301, U.S. Interstate 70. The previously announced Trusted
Traveler Pilot Program goes into effect on Sunday, Aug. 5.

This year marks the 101st year of the “Big Red One’s” service to the nation.
