The next American Red Cross Community Blood Drive in Junction City will be on July 19th and 20th at the Municipal Building. The hours will be 11:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, the 19th and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday the 20th.

Coordinators Joyce and Tom McRae said right now there is a critical need and blood donations are being distributed to hospitals as fast as donations are coming in. Donations are urgently needed now to help ensure blood types, A, B, & O do not go missing.

While nearly 38% of the population are eligible blood donors, only a small percentage of Americans have actually given blood.
