The Junction City Lady Jay softball team got their first win of the season Thursday in Topeka.
Junction City defeated Highland Park in game one of a doubleheader 19-13. The Lady Jays led game two 8-7 in the top of the fourth inning when that contest had to be suspended due to weather.

Blue Jay baseball scheduled Thursday against Highland Park at Rathert Field was postponed due to wet field conditions. The doubleheader is currently scheduled at 4 p.m. Friday.
