Coach Braden, “Today I was pleased with the effort of several Bombers.  Sophomore Dalton Murray competed well in the pole vault and the 3200.  Seniors Justin Carver and Sammy Finnegan scored points for us in the 200 meter dash.  Junior Kevin Jackson had a 6th place finish in the open 400 and was our fastest leg on the Bomber boy’s 4 x 400 meter relay.  Junior Shawna Trumpp scored for the Lady Bombers in the shot put.  Freshman Kelly Flickenger ran a great race and scored for us in the 3200 meter run and the Lady Bomber 4 x 100 meter relay team of freshman Jadyn Pickering, sophomores Destiny Wickersham and Te’a Copenhaver and junior Isabelle French scored a 6th place finish for Wakefield today.”

Next Friday the Bombers get up bright and early to travel to Wichita for the 2018 Shocker Pre-State Challenge.
