The cost of pharmaceuticals are up 30 percent across the nation.

That information was provided by Geary Community Hospital CEO Joe Stratton to the Hospital Board of Trustees on Tuesday.

Stratton made it clear that Geary Community is getting the drugs they need but all hospital providers are feeling the sting from the cost of pharmaceuticals.

Stratton said GCH does have the drugs and medication they need to operate safely and effectively.
