The Geary County Rural Fire Department assisted with two trucks on a fire off of Deep Creek Road in southeast Riley County Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday night about 9 p.m. they responded to the K-18 Bypass for a vehicle and small grass fire. Rural Fire Chief Garry Berges estimated approximately two acres burned.

No injuries were reported.
