A Christmas Market Idea

The 2017 Christmas Market on Friday in Heritage Park saw a steady stream of visitors. They were able to purchase items ranging from arts and crafts to jewelry, and enjoy numerous food products.

Now as thoughts turn toward next year’s event there is an idea being considered. Junction City Arts Council President Sally Jardine explained in Europe there are little wooden booths for this type of event. “And these wooden booths are on a little trailer, and you just pull and you can sell from there, and you can pull them out.”

Jardine noted then you don’t have to worry about rain and wind.

Arts Council members are talking about this, “and how this might be a possibility that we could. We could certainly make a booth, out of wooden, like a tiny house.”

Jardine added after it was used it would have to be stored somewhere. Arts Council officials are working on that prospect.
