The Junction City Brigade fell to the Midwest Athletics Thursday night 9-8 in a game hosted by Midwest.

Junction City finishes the regular season 18-11.

The Brigade finished second in the Mid Plains League Western Division standings behind the division champion Topeka Golden Giants.

Both teams will advance to the postseason playoffs in the Mid Plains League.
