Junction City High School sophomore Hope Stephens finished 22nd in the Class 6A Girls State Cross Country race at Rimrock Farms near Lawrence on Saturday. Her time was 20:24.4. JCHS junior Kailey Koomen finished 95th in 22:35.5.

In the Class 6A boys race Jacob Lovell finished 18:17.0.
