It’s that time of the year again – Blue Jay Homecoming is October 3rd through 8th.
The theme for this year’s festivities are “Chillin’ in the Artctic”.

Students can dress up throughout the week in a show of school spirit.
The activities for Homecoming Week 2016 at Junction City High School are as follows:
- Monday, October 3rd: Medical Monday
- Students and staff can dress up as medical professionals
- Tuesday, October 4th: Twin Tuesday
- Students and staff may dress up as someone else or multiple people (groups)
- Wednesday, October 5th: PJ Wednesday
- Students and staff may dress up in their favorite pajamas
- 2:45 pm – During Seminar, Voting for King and Queen
- 3:00 pm – Coronation Practice in Al Simpler Stadium
- Students and staff may dress up in their favorite pajamas
- Thursday, October 6th: Team Day Thursday
- Students and staff may wear clothes from their favorite sports team
- 4:30 pm – Homecoming Parade Prep at Freshman Success Academy
- 6:00 pm – Homecoming Parade Begins at FSA and pep rally follows at Al Simpler Stadium
- Students and staff may wear clothes from their favorite sports team
- Friday, October 7th: Game Day Friday
- Students and staff may express school spirit by wearing and displaying creativity using school colors -royal blue and white; minimal face paint, colored/sprayed hair and wigs in school colors7:00 pm – Football Game vs. Manhattan

- Dress is business casual for males and semi-formal for females, dresses must reach mid-thigh and have moderate coverage; no jeans
