DOUGLAS COUNTY – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 6a.m. on Wednesday in Douglas County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Dodge Durango driven by Julie A. Cohorst, 36, Wellsville, was southbound on 2200 Road at U.S. 56.

The driver failed to stop at the stop sign.

An eastbound 2013 Ford Escape driven by Jana L. Anderson, 33, Baldwin, collided with the Durango.

Anderson was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Cohorst was possible injured, according to the KHP.
Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
