SFC (Ret.) Nolan Self, 98, of Junction City, died on September 9, 2016 at Valley View Senior Life Center.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, 203 N. Washington Street.  Home Going Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at the C.L. Hoover Opera House, 135 W. 7th Street.  Burial with full military honors will follow at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been designated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
