For a second year  bike and pedestrian counts will be conducted in Junction City The data is used to identify non-vehicular transportation usage, infrastructure needs and deficiencies, and trends. The information is then used by city and regional staffs to update the existing 2008 plan.

The bike and pedestrian counts will be undertaken Saturday, September 10 from noon until 2 p.m.; Tuesday, September 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m; and on Wednesday, September 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
