In a show of support to the countless volunteers, the United Way is hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon and Annual Meeting.

Nichole Mader, United Way Executive Director, said “this is our way of saying thank you to the volunteers.”

“We have members from some of the local agencies that will be there, that will be present, so that way when people support United Way they’ll actually be able to see where that money is going to…and see how we impact the community; but it is definetly our way to shine a light on who has supported us not only with time or financial, but who has also really lead a ‘United’ life,” said Mader.

This year’s event will take place in the Medical Arts II Conference Room on the 3rd floor of Geary Community Hospital on Wednesday, August 17th at noon.
