The following is the latest report from the KDHE on Monday, August 8th on the blue green algae at Milford Lake:

• Zone A – Watch  (BG Algae may be present)
• Zone B – Clear
• Zone C- CLOSURE  – Boat ramps at the Clay County Parks and the Ft. Riley Marina will be closed.  Boaters and water related activities are not permitted in this zone.  (Madison Creek, north, to north of Hwy.82 causeway)

Swim beaches in zones A & B will remain open, unless otherwise posted.

Lake goers should note that blue green algae may move as the wind shifts.

Boaters should use caution and move to a clear portion of the lake.
