The Junction City Brigade have advanced to the Cowdin Cup finals.

The Brigade defeated Rossville 9-8 Sunday night in Rossville to win their Mid Plains League semifinal round playoff series two games to none. Junction City will now go to the finals against a still-to-be-determined opponent. The playoffs in the earlier round of the eastern half of the tournament bracket are not yet complete.

Junction City won game one of the series against Rossville 11-10 in 12 innings at Rathert Field last Friday night.  the outcome of the contest with Rossville Sunday evening was reported on the Brigade Facebook page.
