Live Well Geary County is a local effort to help feed the hungry in the community. An early project will be to provide a sack lunch to children during the summer.

Summer Picnic Parties 2016

May 31 st-August 12th Weekdays from Noon to 1 pm  atPlayground Park: 1001 West 5 th Street,   Dorothy Bramlage Public Library: 230 West 7 th,  Heritage Park: 5 th and Washington St. (near the gazebo), Regency Trailer Court: 948 Grant Avenue ( swimming pool ), Washington Elementary School: 1500 North Washington Street ( south side ), and the 12th Street Community Center: 1002 West 12th Street ( inside ).

The Summer Picnic Parties will run from May 31 to August 12. Children can eat hot lunches at Washington Elementary until July 1 and then join the Picnic parties beginning July 5. And they can eat hot lunches until July 29 at the 12th Street Community Center, and then join the Picnic Parties beginning August 1.
