The 12th annual Celebration of Teaching Banquet is Monday evening at the Courtyard by Marriott convention center in Junction City.

The keynote speaker will be Kevin Wilmott, who was raised in Junction City and attended elementary and second schools in USD 475 before graduating from Saint Xavier High School in 1976.

Willmott is currently a Professor of Film and Media Studies in the School of the Arts at the University of Kansas, and is an accomplished film writer and director.
