The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported that Deputies responded to mile marker 158 on US 77 Highway for a minor injury car – deer accident.

Alexandra Gilbody, Milford, reported that she had been driving her 2012 Nissan northbound on US 77, when the vehicle struck a deer which had run across the road from west to east.

The accident was reported at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday.
