The Geary USD 475 Board of Education Celebration meeting is Monday ( Feb. 22 ) at Junction City Middle School at 5 p.m.

Kansas Teacher of the Year nominees will be recognized along shining star award recipients and the district’s Master Teacher nominee.

The Board holds celebration meetings on a quarterly basis.

Wednesday ( Feb. 24 ) will be a late start day at Junction City High School. Classes will begin at 9:55 a.m.

Friday ( Feb. 26 ) will be an elementary plan day for teachers in the school district. There will be no classes for students in grades Kindergarten through five.
