QUICK HITTERS

• Kansas State (14-11, 3-9 Big 12) concludes its 2-game road swing on Tuesday night, as the Wildcats meet TCU (11-14, 2-10 Big 12) for the first time at the renovated Schollmaier Arena at 7 p.m. CT on ESPNews.
• The back-to-back road games are the last set of the season, as K-State returns home for consecutive games in a 3-day span, beginning with No. 2/2 Kansas (21-4, 9-3 Big 12) at 5 p.m. CT on Saturday and concluding with No. 24/25 Texas(16-9, 7-5 Big 12 at 6 p.m. CT on Monday.
• In an unusual scheduling twist, K-State will play TCU for the first time on Tuesday. The Wildcats have already completed their home-and-home series with Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and West Virginia.
• This will be the 13th meeting between the schools with K-State leading 8-4, including 3-1 in Fort Worth. The Wildcats are 5-2 in the Big 12 era, but the Frogs have won the last two meetings, including at home in 2015.
• K-State owns the 14th-best strength of schedule and has played 10 Top 25 opponents, including 8 in Big 12 play. Nine of the 11 losses have come to teams that are currently ranked in the AP Top 25, including 5 in Top 10. All 11 losses have come to teams with a combined record of 164-60 (.732).
• K-State will play back-to-back non-ranked opponents for the first time since playing North Dakota and Saint Louis, Dec. 22 and 29, 2015.
• K-State enters Tuesday’s game with a 13-game Big 12 road losing skid, which including 6 in a row this season. The Wildcats’ last Big 12 road win came on Jan. 10, 2015 in a 66-63 victory in overtime at No. 16 Oklahoma.
• Overall, the Wildcats have lost 7 straight on the road since opening the season with a last-second 68-66 win at Georgia on Dec. 4, 2015.
• K-State fell to 0-3 in overtime this season, dropping a 58-55 decision at Oklahoma State on Saturday. The Wildcats, which lost to an unranked team for just the 2nd time this year, tied or posted season-lows for points, field goals (18), field goals attempted (49) and points in the paint (22).
• K-State has now held 47 opponents to 60 points or less under head coach Bruce Weber, including 21 Big 12 foes. The loss was just the 7th (40-7) when doing so, including 3rd (18-3) in Big 12 play.
• Senior Justin Edwards led the Wildcats in points (14), rebounds (13) and steals (3) against the Cowboys, posting his 2nd career double-double. He has now led in scoring and rebounding on 8 occasions this season.
• K-State has 7 players with at least 7 double-digit scoring games, as the team is 9-2 this season when 4 or more players register double figures.
• Freshmen have led the Wildcats in scoring 12 times (including 6 of 12 Big 12 games) with a combined 29 double-figure scoring games. They have also paced the team in rebounding and assists 8 times each.
