Dorothy Bramlage Public Library will experience temporary service outage due to database upgrade

An upgrade to the Dorothy Bramlage Public Library’s automation system will necessitate that the library catalog will be offline beginning Friday ( August 2 ) at 4 p.m. and continuing until the upgrade is complete. Library Director Susan Moyer said this applies to catalog home users as well as in-library use.  The upgrade will also affect the availability of some digital resources including the Overdrive ( Libby ) ebook database and the Hoopla database of ebooks and audio and digital downloads.

This upgrade applies to all libraries in Kansas that are part of the Verso automation system owned by Auto-Graphics Inc. Auto-Graphics also operates the statewide interlibrary loan system which will be affected, too. In addition to Kansas libraries, others across the country have been or will be upgraded in groups as Auto-Graphics continues with this migration process.
