Former 1st Infantry Division Soldier Alex McKay has been presented with a barn quilt recognizing his service in the Big Red One. He was presented the quilt by Military Affairs Council Chair Phyllis Fitzgerald.

McKay was a member of the 1st Military Police Company from 1973 to 1975.
