Milford Lake holding water release to a minimum.

The Corps of Engineers at Milford Lake said Wednesday the latest forecast indicates they may be holding releases to a minimum for the next 2-3 weeks. Right now all of the Kansas Basin lakes are releasing low flow values due to the flooding on the Missouri River.

Milford Lake is currently 7.15 feet above normal and rising. As of Wednesday the lake elevation was 1151.51 and that is expected to increase to 1153.66 by April 13th.
