
You can learn about the Meadowlark Parkinson’s Program at a kick-off meeting for their Parkinson’s Education Group of the Flint Hills in Junction City at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11th, at the JC Athletic Training Center. Dr. Matt Floersch, Michelle Haub, MS, CCC-SLP/L, and Bridget Larkin, LMSW will present Parkinson’s: What You Need to Know to Live Well.”
Those who will attend will also have the opportunity to hear about Rock Steady Boxing Meadowlark’s new class JC Athletic Training Center. New coaches Rick Bazan and Bob Bramlage are bringing this fitness opportunity to people with Parkinson’s in the Junction City area.

Meadowlark Parkinson’s Program is available to people in the Flint Hills region. The provides services to improve the quality of life for those affected by Parkinson’s disease, including people with PD, caregivers, therapists and nurses. Most program offerings are provided free of charge.
Meadowlark Parkinson’s Program accepts donations to continue and expand opportunities for education, outreach, exercise, transportation and scholarships for medical purposes.
