The Abilene Cowboys came away with a 46-45 win over the Chapman Irish in varsity boys basketball at the Chapman District Gym Tuesday night. The win allowed the Cowboys to sweep the two regular season meetings with Chapman.

Preston Boyd led Abilene with 14 points, while Anthony wasylk had 19 and Izek Jackson 15 points for the Irish.

Abilene led at halftime 23-16 but Chapman outscored the Cowboys 18-10 in the third quarter to go up by one point. In the final period Abilene scored 13 points to 11 for Chapman.

Abilene won the girls varsity game 52-38. Hannah WIlley scored 24 and Sydney Burton 18 points to lead Abilene while McKenna Kirkpatrick had 15 and Ashlynn Bledsoe 13 points for Chapman.
