Geary USD 475 announced Thursday that the district is beginning it’s superintendent of schools transition plan.

Ron Walker, Superintendent, announced his retirement in January and will now begin spending more time away from the district as he plans for his upcoming retirement in June.

To fill that position in Walkers absence Dr. Beth Hudson, Associate Superintendent will assume the duties of the Superintendent during the transition period.

Dr. Corbin Witt who was recently hired by the board of education as Walker’s successor will take over as Superintendent on July 1st.
