MANHATTAN, Kan. – All general admission Cat Cushion tickets have been sold out for the Saturday, April 5 baseball game between K-State and KU at Tointon Family Stadium, K-State Athletics officials announced. A limited amount of standing room only tickets for the berm down the left field line are available for purchase, starting at $5 for youth and $8 for adults. Also, a limited number of general admission Cat Cushion tickets remain for the series’ other two games on Friday and Sunday.
Fans may purchase tickets for the Sunflower Showdown series in advance by phone at 1-800-221-CATS, in person at the main K-State Athletics Ticket Office at Bramlage Coliseum, or online at www.kstatesports.com. The Tointon Family Stadium box office opens one hour prior to first pitch for each game. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets for Friday and Sunday in advance.
K-State’s first home conference series of the season begins with a 6:30 pm game on Friday and will conclude with a 1 pm contest on Sunday. Saturday’s first pitch is set for 2 pm.
K-State is averaging more than 2,600 fans in per-game paid attendance after more than doubling season tickets to an all-time high this season.
