The Executive Director of Exceptional Student Services Katina Brenn was one of the five candidates interviewed for the Superintendent of Schools post in Geary USD 475.

Brenn met with the Board of Education Monday. When asked why she wanted to serve as the superintendent Katina Brenn commented she is a hometown girl. “I graduated here, went to school here, and I am a community person. And all of my opportunities have been in this district. I love this district and I’ve decided to make this my career.”
Brenn has worked in USD 475 for 16 years. She began as a paraprofessional and worked as a special education teacher, coordinator, oversaw the Alternative center, Boys and Girls Clubs and community programs, before becoming assistant director of special education and then director of special education.
Brenn noted that wanted to make USD 475 progresses the way it needs to.
