Longtime 8th Judicial District Court Administrator was honored during his retirement reception on Friday afternoon in Junction City.

He has completed a 33-year career in the Kansas judicial system, including 24 years as Court Administrator. Many former colleagues and members of the judicial system attended the reception at the George Smith Reception Hall. “Several people from the Office of the Judicial Administration, Justice Marla Luckert. In my field, just doesn’t happen when the Justices come out very often.”
Aska credited his staff. “I appreciate the staff, the things that they’ve done because if I didn’t have such a good staff I wouldn’t be allowed to do some of the things that I’ve been able to do throughout my career because I can kind of give a little direction and then they execute. And that’s what’s great about the people that I have working for us.”
Judges, attorneys, city officials, and numerous other friends and community members attended the reception.
