Representative parents, patrons, business community, students and USD 475 district staff will soon begin receiving invitations to participate in one of several focus group meetings on March 5. This is part of the search process for a new Geary USD 475 Superintendent of Schools.

The purpose of the focus groups will be to compile recommendations to the Board of Education on desired leadership characteristics for the new superintendent of schools. the meetings, each approximately 45 minutes in length, will be conducted by representatives of the Kansas Association of School Boards. A public session has been scheduled for March 5 at 5 p.m. in the Board Conference Room at the Devin Center.
