Road conditions are fair in rural Geary County. That’s the assessment of Curtis Van Nahmen after an overnight snowfall.

“Oh they’re pretty fair. They’re driveable. We’ve been plowing with four trucks overnight. ” Van Nahmen estimated the snowfall total in the three-inch range in Junction City and the northern part of the county, but less farther south.

The Junction City police dispatch had reported three accidents as of 6:45 a.m.  They occurred at Ash and Washington, and on 14th Street in Junction City, and one occurred at about the 296 mile marker on Interstate 70 on the south side of Junction City. No injuries were reported.
