The former Music Director for the Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Junction City has pleaded no contest to four counts in an alleged  child molestation case.

According to Michelle Brown, Assistant Geary County Attorney, Jordan

Young, 26, has pleaded no contest, and has been found guilty of one count of aggravated criminal sodomy and three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

A plea agreement in the case calls for Young to receive a controlling term of 294 months in prison, and be subject to presumptive lifetime post release supervision once he has served his time in prison.

Sentencing is scheduled January 13th in Geary County District Court.

Young was arrested and charged following a police investigation in August of 2012.

According to the stipulation of the facts that were filed in court, Young was employed as a music teacher at the Apostolic Academy when nine teenage boys came forward on August 5th, 2012 and disclosed that Young was sexually inappropriate and / or had engaged in sexual acts with the boys.

The plea agreement calls for the state to dismiss with prejudice 12 charges against Young, ranging from lewd and lascivious behavior to indecent solicitation of a child.

Young has been incarcerated at the Geary County Detention Center since his arrest in August of 2012, with his bond set at $1 million.
