Grandview Plaza Police Officers were dispatched to the Geary Estate Apartment Complex in Grandview Plaza early Tuesday Morning.

At approximately 5:05 a.m. officers discovered two people inside an apartment suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Shawn Peirano, Grandview Plaza Chief of Police said,”The Grandview Plaza Police Department is not seeking additional suspects at this time and does not believe there is any ongoing danger to the community.”

The Grandview Plaza Police Department is actively investigating the incident with the help of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Fort Riley.

The names of the victims have not been released at this time pending notification of next of kin. No other information is being released at this time.
